  • What's the difference between the 20amp and the 30amp?

    The 30 amp gives you more capacity for adding a lot of accessories. The 20 amp is more than adequate for most applications and is our most popular voltage reducer. For reference, a LED light kit will only draw roughly 2 amps.

  • I bought a reducer on Amazon that did not work. It looks the same as the one you sell with 4 wires. That were to be spliced into batteries. Does yours have the bullet end and spade ends needed to attach to batteries and to harness that comes with light kit?

    This reducer is designed with the wiring adapter needed to hook up in-line between the bucket harness and the sub-harness on the Club Car Precedent. It is designed with Molex connectors that make a very simple plug and play installation.

  • My '08 Club Car Precedent doesn't have lights. Would this be needed to add the LED light kit?

    If you have an electric Precedent that has (6) 8 volt batteries, then yes, a voltage reducer will be required for your installation. This particular plug-n-go reducer is designed to make installation easy when needing a voltage reducer.
