MADE IN THE USA!! Our Yamaha golf cart rear seat kits are designed for safety and function and are constructed from the best materials. The frame is made entirely of powder coated steel or aluminum. They are lightweight, strong, and are rust resistant. The rear seat of this kit can seat two adults or it hinges down to create a flat bed for hauling cargo. Included is an all steel or aluminum single stamped plate foot rest. All hardware & instructions are included.                                                           

*DISCLAIMER* The Yamaha G2 and G9 models were manufactured between 1985-1995. On most purchases, the installation of these seats does not run into any issues. However, due to the age of Yamaha G2 & G9 carts, some minor drilling and modifications are occasionally necessary. The difference in manufacturing processes and wear and tear on the carts as well as the installation of other aftermarket parts may impact alignment and the installation process and require you to make certain alterations. The G2 & G9 gas cart will also require removing the gas filler lid while G2 & G9 electric carts may require removing the charging port lid.  By purchasing this seat you acknowledge and agree to the above limitations.

Note: Aluminum Seat Kit is over 40% lighter than the Steel Seat Kit. Aluminum Kit will weigh less than 70 lbs total. The Aluminum material is not only lighter, but is ideal for areas near the ocean.

          • Will this seat, or do you have a seat preferably folding, that will work on a 1990 Yamaha Sun Electric Serial # J50-000232 ?

            Unfortunately we do not sell a seat that is compatible with the "Sun" model.

          • How does this seat impact the gas fill on a Yamaha G9a. I know it says to remove the lid but what access remains?

            There is enough access for either the electric port on electric carts or the fuel filler nozzle on gas carts.

          • Do you have seats for the 1992 g8 yet?

          • Will this fit a 1993 G8 ?

            No, this will not fit the G8. However, we are finalizing details on a kit for the G8. Expect it to be available next week on our website.

          • Will it fit g2 without blocking access to my gas fill?

            EXCELLENT QUESTION! Thank you for reaching out!
            You will have to remove the door/cover over the gas cap (it will not open with the seat installed), but once the seat is installed you will have full access to the gas cap.
