  • Do these come with pigtails on the wires? Can they take constant voltage? Or do they need key off power?

    They are bare wires. The 10 and 20 amp do not have the ability to be wired to the key switch but the 30amp does.

  • How many amps do I purchase?

    How many amps you need depends on what electrical accessories you are planning to hook up. If you are only hooking up a light kit a 10 amp voltage reducer will be adequate. However, if you are planning on hooking up a light kit, stereo, and usb charger (for instance) you would need either a 20 amp or 30 amp model.

  • Hi, which current draw model will be best for a EZGO TXT?

    Our most popular is the 20 amp reducer. It allows you the flexibility to hook up a light kit and a couple other accessories such as a stereo system or additional lights.

  • How do you attach this to a 2001 Club Car 48 volt to wire in a radio?

    The voltage reducer has a red wire for 48 volts positive and a black wire for 48 volt ground that supplies 48 volts from your batteries to the voltage reducer. The voltage reducer then outputs 12 volts using a yellow wire for 12 volts positive and black wire for ground.

  • I have a yamaha a 48V battery system (it is actually 51V) and I can trace power to the reducer but no power coming out? Do i have to wire the red/white wire to the key switch to have power coming out?

    Yes, the red/white wire needs power supplied to actually activate the 30 amp voltage reducer. (This only applies to the 30 amp model)

  • How does this increase the speed

    This has nothing to do with the golf cart motor or drivetrain. It is for the sole purpose of installing 12 volt accessories.
