Battery Status:

The battery indicator has 10 colored LED's that will display the batteries charge.

When the batteries are fully charged, all 10 LED lights will illuminate. 

As the batteries discharges, successively the LEDs will black out one at a time.

At approximately 30% battery life, the Yellow and Red LEDS will only be illuminated.

At approximately 20% battery life remaining, only the Red LEDs will be illuminated. 

When the battery discharges to approximately 10% remaining, the last RED LED will be the only one illuminated

It is strongly recommended to recharge the batteries when you get to the 3rd Yellow LED, this is a safety precaution to avoid dead batteries. As always, this is not a fool proof device and no warranty is made that your batteries are in good condition.

  • Can I mount it either vertical or horizontal position?

    Yes, you can mount it either vertical or horizontal.

  • Will this work on A9252-313943 ?

    Yes, it will work on your Club Car DS. Just make sure to select the correct voltage, either 36 volt or 48 volt.

  • Will this meter work on Club Car Precedence 48 v. With Trojan batteries?

    Yes it will. Just make sure to select "48volt" as an option before adding it to your cart. Instructions are included with the indicator.

  • Can this be wired through the key switch so it will only be on when key is in the on position?

    Yes, it is provisioned for that. The instructions show you how to wire it with the key switch.

  • Will this work with powertron batteries

    Yes, as long as you match the voltage (36 or 48) of the indicator to the voltage of your golf cart.

  • Will this work with lithium batteries? I have a different one and it shows full charge or no charge…No in between.

    This battery indicator gauge will work with lithium or lead-acid batteries!

  • Will this replace the factory battery light on a 2009Club Car Precedent?

    You can absolutely replace your OEM/factory battery indicator light with this one

  • What gauge wire is recommended for install

    We recommend using 18 gauge wire for installing battery level indicators.
