How To Install Golf Cart Floor Mats

Installing a golf cart floor mat is a relatively straightforward process. You won't need to have any special tools or parts to install them and should be able to complete installation in a few short minutes. Here are a few helpful tips when installing a floor mat.

  • Start Installation With The Gas/Brake Pedals- These tend to be the most tedious part of the installation and as a result, it is good to get those done first. You don't want to stretch your mat to all four corners of your cart to then have to undo it all to get the mat over the pedals.
  • For Xtreme Mats Make Sure The Clips Are Properly Installed- The clips ensure that your Xtreme mat stays securely placed in its position. It can be easy to skip/overlook this part of the installation but it's crucial if you want your mat to stay in place.
