Gusto EZ-GO TXT Golf Cart Rear Flip Folding Back Seat Kit

MADE IN THE USA!! The Gusto EZ-GO TXT golf cart rear flip folding back seat kits are designed for safety and function and are constructed from the best materials. They will fit all year EZGO TXT make and model, this includes newer 2015-up TXT Valor carts. The frame is made entirely of powder coated steel or aluminum, depending on which seat you select. They are lightweight, strong, and are rust resistant. The rear seat of this kit can seat two adults or it hinges down to create a flat bed for hauling cargo. Included is an all steel or aluminum single stamped plate foot rest. All hardware & instructions are included and the kit mounts into existing holes in the frame, no drilling required. Our EZ-GO TXT golf cart rear flip folding back seat kit Diamond Plate Upgrade arrives pre-installed when ordered at the same time as the seat. The Diamond Plate is mounted on the floor of the cargo area to both protect the finish and enhance the look of your rear flip seat when used as a cargo bed.

Note: Aluminum Seat Kit is over 40% lighter than the Steel Seat Kit. Aluminum Kit will weigh less than 70 lbs total. The Aluminum material is not only lighter, but is ideal for areas near the ocean.

Please Note: Our rear seats are designed to be installed on carts that have factory hardware. If you have additional parts installed or modifications on your cart these may impact the installation process.

  • Will this fit a jacobsen

    Unfortunately, no. This is designed specifically for the EZGO TXT model golf cart.

  • If you upgrade to the diamond plate, what pieces will have the diamond plate?

    The diamond plate upgrade option on our Gusto rear flip seats includes diamond plate aluminum that is installed on floor of the main tray and on the floor of the flip tray. This upgrade just dresses up the rear seat a bit and also helps protect the powdercoated steel or aluminum from scratches.

  • Does it include the rear roof support?

    This kit does not include roof supports. You would reuse your factory roof supports.

  • Will this rear seat fit my 2018 ez go txt

    This rear seat kit is designed for TXT model EZGOs. Your 2018 model year is most likely a TXT but could also be a ST or RXV model. Before we can confirm it will work we would request photos of your cart. They can be sent to sales@golfcartstuff.com along with a brief message and we will let you know if this rear seat is compatible.

    This kit includes new mounting trees that will replace the factory mounting trees (where the backrest and roof supports attach to).

    These seats are built for a specific model. It would only fit an EZGO TXT.

    Total weight for the Steel seat is right at 100 lbs. The Aluminum version is right around 70 lbs.

  • Does this come with new supports

    No, on the TXT model you will reuse your existing roof supports.

  • I'm looking at the aluminum kit for beach use. Is everything made of aluminum or only certain parts? Please list what is aluminum and what is steel?

    Everything is manufactured from aluminum except the actual mounting brackets that attach the seat to the cart (i.e. mounting trees, down supports, footrest brackets, and footrest gussets). Our manufacturer felt it was important to retain the structural strength of steel in these key areas.
