In the beginning, Club Car produced electric golf carts exclusively, but by the 1970s, the company expanded its product line to include gasoline-powered models.

Throughout the years, Club Car has continued to innovate and improve its golf carts, establishing a reputation as a leader in the industry. The Club Car lineup of vehicles grew to include fleet, transport, UTV, street-legal, merchandising (beverage carts), turf utility, custom maintenance carts, and more. As of 2010, Club Car had produced over 2 MILLIONvehicles.

Today, Club Car is headquartered in Augusta, Georgia and part of the Ingersoll Rand family of brands, where it continues to design and manufacture golf carts to meet the needs of golfers, course managers, commercial property owners, and small communities around the world. As of 2023, they have produced over 2,000,000 vehicles.
